Name:
Reedops deckeri Age: Lower Devonian Formation: Haragan Formation Location: Coal County, Oklahoma Size: Trilobite is 0.9 inches across Price:$89.00
Here is a very nice specimen of Reedops deckeri from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This trilobite is very inflated and nicely articulated - although the tail is missing, the rest of the trilobite is beautifully enrolled. The large compound eyes are well displayed and the tiny facets are wonderfully intact. The finely granulose nature of the exoskeleton is well preserved, and the caramel-brown color of the trilobite contrasts beautifully with the cream-colored matrix. The fossil is naturally perched on top of the block of limestone. This is an excellent display example of an enrolled Reedops from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
