This is a very nice example of a classic trilobite. This is a complete Elrathia kingi from Utah. This type is usually found under one inch in size - this fine specimen is larger than average. The trilobite has very nice articulation and fine detail preserved. The fossil is well showcased on the very large, natural plate of shale that also contains other trilobite fossils. This is a large, complete, detailed example of Elrathia kingi displayed on a large slab of shale.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
