Name:
Arthricocephalus Trilobites Age: Cambrian Formation: Changaspis Layers Location: China Size: Plate is 3.3 inches tall Price:$69.00
Here is an unusual grouping of trilobites from China. These are Arthricocephalus sp. from the Cambrian Changaspis layers. Arthricocephalus is much more uncommon and totally different in appearance than Changaspis. There are at least TEN examples of this trilobite on the plate (hard to see in photo). These ovoid bugs are wonderfully articulated and exhibit very fine detail. Many sets of free cheeks are present and tightly attached, and even the rounded pygidia are intact. The bugs have very good contrast and are beautifully showcased on the natural plate of shale. This is an excellent multiple example of this uncommon Cambrian trilobite.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
