This is a fine specimen of Nephrolenellus geniculatus from the Pioche Formation of Nevada. Nephrolenellus is much rarer than Olenellus gilberti from this same locality. The trilobite is well articulated and nicely outstretched. The color of the trilobite contrasts very well with the matrix plate. The fossil is nicely showcased on the edge of the large matrix block. This is a nice specimen of Nephrolenellus from the Lower Cambrian.
