This is a wonderful spiny trilobite. It is a complete Kettneraspis williamsi from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This specimen was found in our trilobite quarry in Oklahoma and meticulously prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab here in Colorado. This impressive trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits excellent detail. Both free cheeks are present, and the long genal spines and the thin pleural spines are beautifully displayed. The LARGE, protruding eyes are easily seen, and the ''fringes'' of the free cheeks are clearly defined. The inflated bug has great color and contrast and is well showcased on the large, rectangular plate of sculpted limestone. This is a wonderful specimen of Kettneraspis from Oklahoma.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
