Name:
Protolenus densigranulatus and Agraulos Age: Middle Cambrian Formation: Jbel Wawrmast Formation (Tissafinian Stage) Location: Morocco Size: Plate is 4.8 inches across Price:SOLD
This is a very unusual Cambrian trilobite association. It is a fabulous Protolenus densigranulatus and Agraulos sp. from the Cambropallas Beds of Morocco. The Protolenus has both free cheeks present, with both long genal spines intact, which is extremely rare. The trilobite also has very short pleural spines, giving the bug its unusual, worm-like look. The Agraulos is also nicely detailed. Both trilobites has great, natural orange coloration that contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. This is one trilobite association you do not see everyday, especially in this high quality and completeness.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
