This is a very large example of a classic trilobite. This is a complete Elrathia kingi from Utah. This type is usually found under one inch in size. The trilobite has nice articulation and fine detail preserved. The fossil has both free cheeks preserved and is well showcased on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a very large (over an inch and a half long!), detailed example of Elrathia from Utah.
